The magic item "sentinel shield" is not listed to drag on to the sheet. I do have the purchased DMG.  Is this a bug or did  I miss something?

Go to your account settings and check under Marketplace, if there is a button to sync your unlocked content.

If the character in question is not proficient with Shields, and the “Proficient” box is checked under Manage Equipment, then it won’t show you any Shields as available for that PC.

I am having the same issue, character is proficient, book is purchased ect ect and all i get when i type 'sen' is sending stones

Also, do you own the whole DMG or just the compendium?

I dont personally own the book, One of the players in my campaign owns the book and the character is linked to it with myself paying the sub to share our sourcebooks see here.

You need to be creating a character within the campaign in order to have access to shared content, if you don't own the content yourself.

The character was created and sits in that campaign tho that being said I do disable it when im creating an encounter for my players so i can work on balance if that affects it.

 Why? Disabling content sharing for the campaign wouldn’t affect anything other than to limit what you have access to when building your encounters. While the content is being shared you can access any monsters from those sources, with sharing disabled you loose access to content.

Or did you mean that you “deactivate” the character so it doesn’t affect CR calculations?

Two things:

1. In future, it’s more helpful to post a copy of the actual URL rather than the “share link.” Moderators can look into your character better with the URL, and if you post it then they won’t have to reconstruct it from the share link like this:

Hi i am playing in a campaign with content sharing my character is proficent in shields and i cant seem to find the sentinel shield its not even in the list what can i do ?

Is your character in the campaign in which content is being shared? Does someone, anyone in the campaign have the DMG purchased from this site?

yes and yes the dm has it and has shared it and the character is in the campaign
