All my characters had custom portrait pictures. They're now all blank and I am unable to upload the same image again. The preview shows the image, but when I select "Change Portrait", it remains blank.

Some people (myself included) have this issue from time to time. The only way I've been able to personally fix it is by clearing cache and cookies.
To confirm you're having the same issue, try to open the character sheet in a different browser. If it's the same issue, you should see the images as expected in the other browser.
