So this whole 2024 vs 2014 thing always has to be so complicated. One of my players has a 2014 built character (yes I checked it is not 2024) All their spells that are from the PHB are 2014 Legacy with the exception of Augury. When you search the spell in dndbeyond it shows the Legacy spell in the 2014 PHB, but in character creation, only the 2024 spell is pickable.
I would post images but dndbeyond does not allow pasting screenshots.
I know how to uploadimages. It wasn't due to lack of knowledge, it is just a hassle to screenshot>save>imgur>upload>get link>insert. But I will do it now.
I don't speak with any authority but I am bored so had a play with one of my old characters on 2014 and I think I see the problem:
According to my (physical) 2014 PHB Augury isn't available to Wizards - only Cleric/Paladin/Illrigger, your screenshot above confirms this. This seems to have changed with 2024 (Cleric/Druid/Wizard) but no idea why.

There’s instructions here for posting images.

Could you share a link to the character as well? Make sure in their character settings that “Character Privacy” is set to “Public”, too, please.

It's super confusing and I have no answer for it.
Interesting. It never even occurred to me they would remove such a benign and frankly useless spell from an entire class.
They didn't remove anything - they added it to the Wizard list in the 2024 rules. It wasn't on the Wizard list in 2014.
pronouns: he/she/they
Yeah, that’s all working according to the rules. 2014 Augury was never on that class’s spell list.
