Using the 5e sheet in D&D Beyond, I noticed that the Champion Fighter's ability Improved Critical, which says "Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20", is not being applied to unarmed strikes (even when the Fighter has the Unarmed Fighting fighting style).
This appears to be an erroneous oversight. According to Jeremy Crawford, "...[The melee attack errata] lets melee weapon attacks use unarmed strikes, despite those strikes not being weapons." So for purposes of subclass (such as Champion and Battle Master) abilities that apply to melee weapon attacks, they should be applying to unarmed strikes as well.
It's not an oversight, it's just something the character sheet/dice rolling service doesn't support yet. You can manually trigger critical hit damage if you roll a 19 by right clicking the damage button and selecting "critical hit"

If the character sheet/dice rolling service "doesn't support" it, then why does it treat a roll of 19 for a Champion as a crit with actual weapons (which it does)?

Damn, you could do that? (Also, you can do this on mobile if you hold down the button)

Actually, never mind. Today all of a sudden it IS treating a natural 19 with the Unarmed Strike as a crit. It definitely was not doing that yesterday.
