Many of us have purchased content in D&D Beyond. I don't have a lot, but others have everything. Their usefulness in D&D Beyond is being removed. Are we able to request a refund or have a physical copy sent to us since the digital price and physical prices were generally equal. If there isn't going to be any compensation for this loss what options to us as users have?
If they don't either send physical copies or offer refunds for content getting deleted if they choose to not go the route of making old content a legacy option to keep, that's gonna be a lot of law suits from a lot of people.
That's hundreds of dollars spent by not just myself but thousands of others.
"If you wish to use the old version of a magic item or spell that has been replaced by its 2024 counterpart, you will need to create a homebrew copy of it and enable homebrew content on your character sheet. Then, you can add it to your character sheet."
So they may be making content Legacy, but they are also making it basically unusable with creating a character at the same time.

" Use and Management of Digital Content: Your license to use Digital Content is defined by several key restrictions: it's non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable, and can be revoked by us at any time if your account is terminated. Weretain the full authority to manage, alter, or even remove Digital Content as deemed necessary, without owing you any compensation. By engaging with Digital Content, you acknowledge and accept that you hold no ownership or proprietary rights to any items you access, and wewill not be held liable for any loss or changes made to these items, including their potential removal when your account is terminated."-Quote from the D&D Beyond Terms & Conditions. Emphasis my own.
Essentially, you don't own anything you have bought, and would have no legal standing if you wished to sue. I don't like it, but this is how the site can do things like create errata which changes your bought content, or delete things from books which are deemed offensive. I wish that more people would read the ToS of the website they spend large amounts of money on. I've seen variations of your post popping up in the forums since the announcement about the 2024 update, and it frustrates me to no end.

While I do agree with you on the TOS, if we don't say anything and make respectful requests at least there isn't a chance at changes. I for one have stopped relying on digital media and am getting physical copies where I can. I am hoping Hasbro will learn the lesson the music and movie industry learned briefly, then forgot that if you push to hard it will lead to piracy.
Well seeing on how they removed plenty of digital content that I was relying on (like the goliath race and the duegar) I will never purchase digital content again. Or anything from this site. Painful lesson but one I won't forget.

None of the digital content has been removed. The Goliath and Duergar species are still available. Ensure you have Expanded Rules turned on in the character builder.

I though they already said they were making that content Legacy: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/changelog#UpdatingtheDDBeyondToolsetforthe2024CoreRulebooks).

They say that there, but also say

Looks like they walked back all these changes and 5e will continue to be played as usual.
