Whenever I select a fighting style, it instead selects the fighting style I selected previously. So let’s say the current fighting style is protection, I selected interception and then chose dueling. Once I select dueling, it will change my fighting style to interception. Now if I try to choose great weapon fighting my fighting style will become dueling.
