According to the 2024 Player’s Handbook, if a character uses a legacy background the player should select any two ability score increases and one origin feat.
I’ve tried building some characters using 2024 classes but legacy backgrounds. I can select the two ASIs on the Abilities tab during character creation, but I don’t see anyplace to select the origin feat.

Where do you select the origin feat?
The origin feat needs to be added manually. Under Features on your character sheet, scroll to the bottom and select Manage Feats. You can add it manually there.
I'm pretty sure that the Origin Feat isn't inherently coded, and the Versatile list is a hardcoded set. So basically it has no way to determine what Origin feats actually are, in the Character Builder.
