I have been using the encounter builder for almost a year now for my D&D sessions. Recently (the last month or so) it keeps giving me an error for saving the encounter. I refresh, slose the window, try again but it never works. Anyone else having this issue?
I don't get errors, but for the last month or two I have been having an issue also. When I edit an encounter and save the changes, it seems like everything worked, but then when I try to restart the encounter with the new group of enemies, one of several things will happen.
Sometimes when I click on the "Run Encounter" button, it takes me back into the encounter with the old group of enemies and the old initiative order, as if I had never edited the encounter or chosen to restart it.
Other times it will restart, but it will have the old group of enemies instead of the new ones listed, again as if nothing had been edited or restarted.
And still other times it will restart and will have the right group of enemies listed, but after I get the initiatives in and click the button to start, it goes back to the old group of enemies with the old initiatives as if the encounter had never been edited or restarted.
When any of these things happen, trying to restart or edit the encounter also has some wackiness. Sometimes when I try to edit the encounter again, it will have the new enemies listed, while other times it will have the old group. Sometimes when I restart, it will put the old enemies in the list, and other times it will be the new ones. Its like its loading from cached data, but it can't seem to figure out which cached data to use. Seems like a design flaw that it is opting for anything other than the newest data for that encounter.
Exact same issue here and as a weekly DM this is really becoming a problem for me. DDB hasn't responded to my bug submission in 2 weeks. Very frustrating!
As a DM who's paid the Master Tier subscription for close to 5 years running and owns 90% of the available digital content, I'm very close to abandoning DDB because it no longer meets my needs as DM.
The Encounter Builder is critical to my play. If DDB can't fix the bug preventing me from using it, why would I continue to pay?

Can we get a Dev or Admin to respond please?

Im having this same issue now, any thing help it?
I am also having this problem. If the thing I pay for doesnt work, then why would I pay for the subscription instead of using roll 20?
