Is it possibly a subscription renewal?  Otherwise you should file a support ticket.  But just FYI, people are reporting that they're going for weeks between responses for those and nothing is being resolved.

Yeah, check to see if it's just a pending transaction or if it's gone through.  Hopefully your bank can reverse it if the site can't/won't.  Be careful though, some users has reported that DnDbeyond has threatened to ban accounts if their bank reverses charges, even if they're incorrect.

 Same. Mine came from an email from Paypal.

With the issues with the 2024 PHB and paypal, I am afraid to say it’s not a legitimate charge and then accidentally cancel my 2024 DMG.

My paypal says it is a temporary authorization to make sure my payment method will cover the charges. So it is likely their attempt to ensure there are no problems with paypal charges going through when they start shipping out the physical 2024 DMG.

If you pre-order a D&D product on the D&D Beyond Marketplace or the D&D Store your card will receive an initial authorization in the amount of the full order price, but will only be charged for the digital items and any Physical Items on your purchase which are not pre-ordered. Once the physical items you Pre-Ordered begin shipping to you (usually about a week before the official release so you get it in time), your card will then be charged for those items plus the shipping fees. Any discounts will be split across the payments based on their portion of the total cost. Tax is applied separately to each transaction.
