Rather than a filter, just put a flag on all content including which book it came from (like with TCoE but also have 2014 and 2024 as well). That includes feats, spells, backgrounds, etc. And the flag needs to be visible from the selection lists.
Speaking of filters, when searching Homebrew Feats, Spells, Backgrounds, etc.... There should be a filter or toggle or check box to search for 2014 or 2024 feats, spells, backgrounds, etc.
Still waiting for that "fix". It's ridiculously dumb to be paying for a subscription service that doesn't go towards important QoA features like this that can wreck games and cause arguments from misinformation.
2014 isn't 2024. You (WoTC/Hasbro) has made it forward compatible but NOT reverse compatible - GIVE US A FILTER PLEASE! Thank you for ignoring another thread..
This needs to be fixed. It's horrible. 9/1 ratio of agreement. I refrain from posting frequently, but again, I'm running into problems that are EASILY SOLVED by PREVENTATIVE measures!
Put a filter in! STOP ABUSING US FOR YOUR POCKETS!
Have you tried using the Source Category filter? Serious question here. Do you honestly expect that repeating your demand, with unbridled use of Caps Lock, is going to make an entire department within a large organization reorganize its schedule of fixes, upgrades, patches, etc? Not everyone is having the, clearly emotionally-jarring, issues finding information that you are. Deep breaths, ya know?
You obviously haven't been paying attention, peculiar indeed. You just report/rant without any substance. Each post has a point, even the deleted ones. Each one is clear and emphasized in capitals. Emotionally written? Sure, but correct and on point.
You're just upset that I'm calling out your favourite toy company on it.
1.) Replacing 2014 content with 2024 content without saying what has changed (if anything), but it's timestamped 2024. 2.) Searching for 2014 content still brings up both 2014/2024 content - that's using your precious search features. 3.) Not preparing their site with filters or search functions.
It's so bad (again I'll say it) that I have to vet dndbeyond with competitor websites that have simple filtering options. Just put "2014." before dndbeyond.com, easy filter. I mean, you think putting that in a Filter Bar like in Spells or Monsters would make sense, but DNDBEYOND has only done HALF of that - added a search function for 2014 but it doesn't filter out 2024.
Dndbeyond is just full of money wasters at this point, IMO.
First, assuming that those who click on a poll are an actual representation of widespread perspectives and opinions is just silly.
Second, I have been paying attention. And using the app and the webpage and the lackluster search function. I've ridden the same train and simply had a different ride. That's how perspective and life experiences work.
Third, favorite toy company? Nope. It's pretty dismissive to play the fanboy/company-shill card just because you disagree with someone.
As for the rest of your enumerated points, I guess I don't know how to help or what to suggest. I'm having a completely different experience with the "precious search functions." I seem to be able to find both feats and spells (your original issues, I believe) separated by 2024 and Legacy. I can't imagine that they're serving up one version of the site to your region and one to another. Maybe, but it seems unlikely.

This is ridiculous. Put a filter to separate features we don't want. We NEED a Filter to remove 2024 from Feat/Spell/etc searches.
This is annoying as a room full of Piercers, knowing about it, but not being able to see them before they Drop.

According to the pole, 93% agree.

Lots to unpack here...
