I have a player who has an older druid character sheet from here, and we can't figure out how to give her Primal Order options to choose from. Will she have to re-create her character, or are we missing it somewhere?
To use the 2024 option, you need to rebuild the character, or at least delete the current class levels and add new ones with the 2024 class. (Whether you must also update species and background and the like is up to the DM.)
(Also, f the character's subclass is in the 2024 PHB, you need to have that book unless it's the free one. If it's from a third-party source, it won't work without you using private homebrew to update it.)
Thank you!!! I thought I might have to remake the whole character for my player but deleting the current class levels will be much faster! And yes I own the books on my account ;) Again thank you.
EDIT: I tried changing the players level back to level 1 and still did not get the option to choose a Primal Order. I had to remove the druid class altogether and then add it. (I also unchecked the 2014 rules list in the options screen.)

To be clear, as far as D&D Beyond is concerned, the 2014 versions and the 2024 versions are different classes. That's why going back to level 1 doesn't change anything; you have to actually choose the 2024 version of the class. You don't need to uncheck the 2014 rules option; that just makes 2014 options available alongside the 2024 ones.
