I've been trying to use Maps as a VTT as a DM since it seems promising and is easily integrated for my players to use for remote sessions.
However, in testing it out, it seems to be missing almost all of its utility. There is no way for me to access character sheets for either players or monsters. For example, I can add all tokens on the map to combat and they can all auto-roll for initiative. I have options too for rolling initiative with advantage, disadvantage, etc. But once in initiative, if I click on a token the only option I have from initiative order is "Remove from Combat."
I have tried using Maps now in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, as well as on Mobile, and this problem carries across them all. Am I doing something wrong on my end? Or is this a known bug?
I think this is not so much a bug as features that haven't been implemented yet. This is still a beta version, remember. There is a feedback system within the tool to suggest features.
Ah okay, you’re totally right. I thought I had read elsewhere in the forums that these features existed, but reading actual release notes makes it seem this is not the case.
