I am a master tier subscriber with a few downloaded homebrews, but I can't use them in the character creator right now, anyone know why?
There could be a number of reasons.
As mentioned, Homebrew needs to be toggled on in the character preferences section of the character builder or digital character sheet.
If you're using a 2024 core class, homebrew spells that were created for 2014 classes & subclasses won't show up in the Manage Spells section even if homebrew is toggle on. These spells need to be edited or recreated, adding the 2024 classes and/or subclasses to the Class Availability section of the spell builder.
If you're trying to add Homebrew spells from a class feature or a feat that offers School of Magic specific spell options, homebrew spells won't show up because as of right now, the spells of that specific school need to be added manually to the spell feat option when creating the feat. (i.e. D&D Beyond staff would've added only the core spells of that specific school of magic).
For me, none of those things appear to be the issue. I have a character in my campaign that is a 2014 paladin. This character does not have access to any of my homebrew spells. Homebrew is confirmed to be toggled on. Homebrew items are showing up, but not the spells that used to show up before the 2024 update. The 2014 wizard in my campaign, however, does not seem to be experiencing the same issues, all of my homebrew spells still showing up for them. I know these spells are indeed correctly tied to the 2014 paladin, since the paladin had access to them before the update. I'm not sure what to do, and am quite frustrated :(
I created a staff for a player, added 2 CHA, and a charge perk. When the player equips the staff his CHA does not increase, nor is the charge perk available. Homebrew is on... what am I missing? Thanks y'all

Did you set the item to require attunement? If so, the player needs to check the box on the attunement tab in addition to equipping it.

Do you have the Homebrew content switch turned on (red) on the home page of the editor?

homebrew is turned on, and is there a way to use the 2014 stuff, I have a subclass that I want to use.
Ok, I just found a tab on this in the character builder that wasn't opened yet, thanks for your responses, they were helpful.
