The description for Sorcerous Burst says the spell levels up its damage when you reach level 5 or above:
"Cantrip Upgrade. The damage increases by 1d8 when you reach levels 5 (2d8), 11 (3d8), and 17 (4d8)."
On both the Android app and on Chrome browser only Acid is shown to use 2d8 damage for my level 7 Sorcerer. This seems to be a bug in the software.
