My firearm-proficient character isn't getting the proficiency bonus to hit to the Pistol from the DMG, yet he gets it with the Hunting Rifle from the DMG.
For now, I'm manually adding the prof bonus to the pistol. But would appreciate this being fixed.
My Artificer with the Gunner feat has the same problem. I looked through all the different firearms and a regular pistol is the only one he is not proficent with. Meanwhile I can use a laser pistol or a freaking Antimatter Rifle! with no issue.
