I have 2014 rules , I have 2024 rules and yet when I have it set for 2014 I have all the 2 Rangers subclasses but when I take it off. I have no subclasses for the ranger.
When you say you "have" the rules, do you mean you purchased the digital books on D&D Beyond? Are they being shared via content sharing through a campaign (and if so, are the characters being made in that campaign)? Are you talking about just the core books (phb, dmg, mm) or expanded like Xanathars and Tasha's? What subclasses are you trying to select? Etc.

The 2014 and 2024 classes are separate classes on the site. The toggle in the builder does not change which version you're using, just whether the 2014 character builder options are available.
If you've got a 2014 class chosen, and turn off the 2014 core rules option, you're not going to be able to choose 2014 subclasses. Since you also can't use 2024 subclasses, you will see none.
I did mean digital. Oddly enough when I checked back a day later it was there.
Occasionally when you purchase a digital product on D&D Beyond's Marketplace, your account for the character builder and compendium doesn't immediately sync up the way it should, which can lead to it looking like you haven't purchased something that you actually have.
This often resolves itself eventually with time, but you can force the issue by going to the account screen (from the drop-down menu at the very top right) and looking at the Licenses tab; the section called "Account Entitlements" will tell you if these things are out of sync on your account, and provide a button you can click to manually sync them.

Can you provide more info?

It's hard to figure out your exact problem, but:
