This is making it so I cannot use the monster tokens during encounters, as it says I do not own the content. However, the book is under my purchase history. I tried to look for a phone number or support a help ticket, and it seems impossible to get ahold of anyone. Am I doing something wrong? Do i have to redeem the digital book? Please help.

did you purchase the old 2014 PHB on dndbeyond, the app or the "outside of US" store??
if purchased digital via dndbeyond it should of unlocked straight away
if purchased digital (+ physical, dont think they have a digital only method of purchase) via "outside the US" store then i believe theres a redeem code on the invoice over there
if the app, no clue how it works but may be a syncing issue
might be worth checking if your licence data is in sync??
