My partner subbed to D&D Beyond to Master tier. He did this through his phone then tried to access his account through our laptops but it showed up as free member.
His account name changed on the account that has the Mastet tier, once we logged out we can no longer access it. He has one email that he uses so it couldn't be due to a second email. My account is separate to his. He's pretty upset as he's just spent £70 on that account, he bought it through Apple Sub so we can easily get it back but its ruined our Dnd night with all our friends.
We read up about deleting the account then relogging in as the two accounts share the same information, we've gone ahead and done this but feel as if there was possibly another step we could make, anuy suggestions on this issue? Anyone else expereinced this?
If it's a different account name, then it's a different account. Did he use the same login method each time? Is that same email address used for Twitch, which was then used for DDB?
Ultimately if you can't figure out how he logged in before, you'll need to talk to customer support about account recovery. http://dndbeyond.link/SubmitTicket
Yeah the log in details were the exact same except for the user names, we can access his actual account which just comes up with his user name then on his phone its an entirely different account despite entering the exact same details in, his user name is the same except it has a couple of random numbers and letters at the end. We've got a refund through apple pay for the new 2024 manual and the master tier sub
