I bought the Gunslinger subclass but it's not showing up as an option in the character build for my level 3 fighter. I've enabled all the content I can, including Homebrew and Critical Role. Is there anything else I can try?
That's available only on the 2014 Fighter class (, not ).
(If you do want it on the 2024 Fighter class, you can make a homebrew copy of the 2014 subclass to see how it was set up, then rebuild it as a 2024 subclass).

Those checkboxes just determine which character options are shown in the various tabs and drop-downs. They don't change which ones you're actually using.
Dang. I would have thought that selecting those content sources would mean I could actually use their content. Shouldn't have purchased a whole subclass module if it isn't even compatible for a basic character build! Thanks for the help.

Well, again, you can — you just have to select the version of the Fighter class that it's compatible with. Or make a homebrew copy for the other version as spamandtuna suggested.
