Hoping someone else is in a similar situation to me and can provide some guidance on how this works. I have a player in my current campaign that owns most of the D&D Beyond content and has a master tier subscription to allow for content sharing, which he has done for our campaign. As the DM, I know if I want to host games using the 'Maps' tool, I need my own master tier subscription. However, what I am not sure about is whether I will be able to use the content that my player is sharing within that tool or not. If I get into the 'Maps' tool and do not have access to all of the tokens/monsters from my players content, then there is really no point in using it as I am not going to purchase content I already have access to just to use this tool.
Thanks in advance for any guidance in this matter!

ModeratorYou do need to own the content yourself to use it in Maps. Shared content will not be available.

Ah, I see. That is unfortunate. Thanks for the quick answer!
