So I have the free 8 slots and I've already ran the encounter that I want to delete but whenever I try to delete it, it doesn't delete and I can't edit it either can anyone help?
Sometimes this can happen if the encounter is associated with a campaign, and at least one character in that campaign is in an incomplete/invalid state (e.g., they don't have ability scores, a class, or a species). If that's the problem, fixing up or removing the offending character usually fixes the issue.

ModeratorUnnamed encounters can also have this issue, so you could try naming it and trying again.
If none of the above works, you’ll have to contact customer support.
