The eldritch adept feat will not let you choose Pact of the Blade or and pact boons for that matter. Even though they are level one invocations without prerequisites.

The feat, as designed on D&D Beyond, is 2014 exclusive in terms of what it will allow you to select. The old Pact of the Blade wasn't an invocation. Additionally, it only views 2014 Warlock as eligible levels for those that needed Warlock levels.
A custom feat can be added to Beyond to implement other options via Eldritch Adept, they'd just have to be set up manually and wouldn't have any sort of protection against double-selecting an invocation if you take one as a class feature.
Well, that's the problem. It is supposed to be "Reverse compatible". I shouldn't have to make a custom feat. It should be updated. The previous books are supposed to be included in the 2024 rules.
Also, you are allowed to take some invocations multiple times. It won't let you do that either. So every time there is a bug we are supposed to make a "custom" way around it. That is poor quality control.
