To preface this, I have looked into this on multiple homebrew Species of my own creation. When making a special action, specifically a natural attack. The option is presented to provide a fixed bonus to the attack. This functions identically to a +1 bonus on say, a +1 glaive. Or at least... It did.
During a session tonight using one of my homebrew races, one of my players encountered a problem with their sheet where the attack was using their modifier, their proficiency bonus, but not the fixed bonus. I will respond to this thread with pictures to demonstrate what I am describing.
The point being, the Fixed Bonus on Natural Attacks for Homebrew species aren't working right now.
In the case of this particular example. The species is Harekin, with the Dexterity based attack "Leg-Breaker". This attack is Dexterity based, has proficiency bonus, and a +2 bonus. The unworked character I've produced for this example is just a default level 1, and has 19 dex for the example's sake. As you can see from the pictures shown below, The Dexterity is being added, as is the Proficiency bonus (a fact I determined seperately through additional testing with a strength based natural attack on a different homebrew species), but it ISN'T applying the +2 fixed bonus to the to hit bonus, OR the damage.
