Every other spell, when right-clicked on the damage roll box on the character sheet allows you to change the roll - either send the roll to everyone or just yourself, roll as crit damage or a flat roll, and change the number of dice rolled - Cure Wounds is bugged and doesn't work when you right click it.
Changing the number of dice rolled is a workaround for feats like Magic Initiate (Cleric) - when you take Cure Wounds (or any other spell) it doesn't show up on the character sheet to upcast to 2nd, 3rd, etc level spell.
It's actually not just Cure Wounds, it's any spell where that button is rolling healing rather than damage. Right-clicking the button pops up the browser's normal right-click menu rather than the special one that provides those other options.

The second last VTT update I think? That's when I saw it on the VTT and then played with it on the character sheet.

You can't right-click on the damage roll box on the character sheet for the Cure Wounds spell to change anything.
What specifically are you trying to change?
