I'm trying to create a runechild, but it's not in the available subclass list. I have all the options enabled for homebrew and partnered content, but it still isn't showing up. I also noticed that not all the legacy subclasses are in the character creation list. Like half of them are available to be used.
I'm trying to create a runechild, but it's not in the available subclass list. I have all the options enabled for homebrew and partnered content, but it still isn't showing up. I also noticed that not all the legacy subclasses are in the character creation list. Like half of them are available to be used.
Runechild is partnered content and all partnered content is currently unavailable for the 2024 classes. You can either wait for them to resolve the issues with their partners (likely a licensing issue) or copy it with the Homebrewer.
If you open a fresh homebrew subclass for the 2024 Sorcerer in one tab/window and copy Runechild in the other, you can copy all the abilities 1:1.
If you’re looking for WAY of Shadows, you’ll need the 2014 PHB. You’ll also need to enable 2014 Core Rules for your character. When selecting your class, you’ll need to scroll down and choose the SECOND Monk class, the one under 2014 Core Rules.
If you choose the FIRST Monk class, that’s the 2024 one. For that, you’d need the 2024 PHB and its WARRIOR of Shadows subclass.

ok, so it is five years later. Only Open Hand Monk Subclass is showing, no Way of Shadow or Way of the Four Elements... why not????
Nevermind.. had to build with a 2014 Monk to get it instead of just Monk
