Hello! One of my campaigns is having a problem with Content Sharing and I wanted to check if what we're seeing is what is intended or if we're screwing things up.
I have a Master Subscription and I enabled content sharing in my campaign. I sent the campaign link to my players, and they joined the campaign, creating their own characters. When my players login, they can see the contents of all the books I have purchased, so far so good. When they go into the builder however, they do not have access to any of the subclasses of Rogue except Thief, which is what is included in the basic rules. My expectation was that since content sharing is enabled, they should have access to everything I have paid for. Am I wrong, or are we screwing things up somehow? As a test, I edited the character sheet, and it did give me the choice of all 6 subclasses for Rogue. I changed from Thief to Mastermind, and saved it. They players now see the character as a Mastermind, but they can't change it from Mastermind.
Past that, one of these same players purchased the new Eberron book which I will not do until/unless it becomes official, I have a very hard time paying money for UA level material. In any case, my expectation was since they bought it and our campaign is shared, I should be able to see the Wayfarer's Guide to Eberron. Every time I try to look at the Eberron book, I get an error page or sent to the page to buy the book. That seemed to be one of the big selling points to the Master Tier Subscription - if anyone in the campaign bought something, all gained access to it. Again, is this a misunderstanding on my part, something we're executing incorrectly, or some technical issue?
For the first part of your post, it is working as intended. A user is able is use the shared content only if it is trying to create a character already in the campaign. Outside the campaign slot, the user has access only to its purchases.
For the second part, you should have access to Eberron. I would clear the cache and verify again.
Clearing the cache did not allow me access to Eberron. When I cleared the cache, logged out, logged back in and went to Compendium -> Rules -> Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron, it takes me to the purchase page.
The above link is the player that cannot change subclasses. I am unsure which of the players bought the Eberron book, if it wasn't the above then it is this one:
Ok, thank you HartlessD20, that explains why I can't see it, which is fine. Any ideas on why their characters in the campaign don't have access to all the subclasses? I'm going to follow Filcat's instructions and disable sharing, wait a few minutes and re-enable it.
You had it dead to rights, Filcat! After I disabled sharing then re-enabled it, the players were able to pick any subclass for the characters in the campaign. If they made a generic character outside the campaign they are limited to free which is expected. Thank you all for your help & support!

Thank you all for your time.

Thank you for replying, Filcat. The first part is not working however. The rogue I mentioned that cannot change subclasses is in the campaign.
I'll clear the cache and check back.

Jim,
Can you please post the link of the character that's in your campaign that you believe has purchased access to WGtE?
I am the Inquisitor Imperitus. I am judge, jury, and executioner. Draw your last breath now, as I send you to the Nine Hells.
Ok, try one last thing for me.
Disable the sharing, and then re-enable it again. Then check the content.
Here's the link, Hartlessd20:

Filcat I'll disable/enable if Hartlessd20 doesn't have any insight.
Jim,
I don't see that DandDPanda or Dawnwalker101 have bought WGtE. Neither of those accounts have a license for the book.
