I created a Level 1 Life Domain Cleric. I should have 3 Cantrips, 2 first-level spells available to me, as well as Bless and Cure Wounds (provided by Life Domain) which are listed as "Always Prepared". Though the main Prepared Spells counter shows a total of 7, the same counter within the Known Spells drop-down does not reflect the "Always Prepared" spells. It seems that these are not contributing to the counter. The main issue is that it allows for adding more spells than is allowable by the current level and class.
It's correct. With your WIS of +3, you should be able to prepare 4 spells (not 2), for 6 1st-level spells and 3 cantrips total.
Domain spells don't count towards the number of spells you can prepare each day, so they're not in the 2/4 Known Spells: prepared spells subsection, but they are in the Prepared Spells section (the wording's a little confusing, I'll admit). When you create a Life Domain Cleric, it auto-adds your domain spells, so you should start out with 2 prepared spells before you pick any spells, and you still need to pick two more spells to prepare. So you add two more spells, and the Prepared Spells counter will say 9, the correct number.

You have just taught me something I had never known before. I feel like an idiot now for posting this thread, but I guess I at least learned something from it. I guess I had always missed the part about prepared spells being based on a modifier + current level (with regards to Wizards and Clerics). Thank you for pointing this out to me!
I'm not 100% sure how to close a thread, but I'll certainly mark it as "Resolved"
