Last night my players built characters for our campaign, and when I looked them over this morning, none of them got their increase from the racial ASI trait. I went into the character builder to find out what happened, and the trait was just, not in the race description?
The following races are missing the Ability Score Increase feature in the Character Builder
That was the first thing I checked. With the Origin Ability Score Increase trait not selected, there is no ASI Feature box at all. This persists across builds. It’s all three of my PCs, and the race descriptions in the builder as a whole.
Thanks for double-checking, I went back and looked again, and yeah, they look like they get auto-added into the character. That means, yeah, the problem is a display problem… Still a big deal since my brand new players don’t see the trait and know they get it.

I chose the human race and it wasn't showing the racial increases. Luckily, I figured out how to add it manually.
Likely you chose a 2024 background, which has its own ability score bonuses. You're not meant to get ability score increases from both background and species.

Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Genasi, Gnome, Goliath, Half Orc, Tiefling, Variant Tiefling, Feral Tiefling, Variant Feral Tiefling, Tortle
There may be more, but they don’t exist in my campaign world so I haven’t checked them yet

Thanks, Matt!
Is it possible the player enabled 'customise your origin' and hasn't assigned the ability score trait?
Can you link to one (or more) of the affected characters?

Here’s a character I whipped up. You’ll notice ASI Is completely missing, and isn’t included in the descriptions offered by the builder

I'll pass this along, as it appears there's a degree of inconsistency between how ASI's are displayed.
They are however being added to your characters ability scores, it's just in the traits list.
