Hi, 

I wanted to play as a swashbuckler rogue, but I understand you only have access to the thief subclass because it's free. I have the 2024 core rulebook hardback book at home but the app wants me to pay for a digital copy to access the subclasses in the book? It feels poor to have to pay for the same book twice??

I understand swashbuckler rogue isn't in the 2024 rule book but I have no idea which book it's in! I can't see an option when looking at the books in marketplace to see what subclasses are in what book, so how am I supposed to find it? Also can you just pay for the subclasses or do you have to pay £50 plus for the digital book in order to access the subclasses?? 

Any help would be massively appreciated, I am struggling to navigate the app and understand how everything works!!

 Digital books on D&D Beyond are £22.11 + tax and your banks conversion rate fees, not £50+. Make sure you're not looking at the digital + physical bundle.

And no, you can't pay for just the subclasses, you have to buy the books.

I believe that while it's compatible with 2024 Rogue at the rules level, it's only set up on D&D Beyond for 2014 Rogue. If you want to make it functional with '24 Rogue, you can use the homebrew tools
