Hello. I’m a player in my campaign trying to make a cleric, but it only has the life domain as an option. And yes I’m very aware that without buying the handbook I can’t choose anything else. But my DM has the necessary materials and content sharing is enabled, and it still won’t appear. My entitlements are synced, and the character is in the correct campaign. The only thing I can possibly think is that it is a glitch at this point because I’ve tried everything else.
Check with the DM to see how many campaigns they've enabled content sharing in. There's a limit of 5.
Also, make sure you're using the right version of the Cleric class — there are two, the 2014 version and the 2024 version, and you need to be using the same version that your DM is sharing the source for.
Also, that player would only be able to make characters within that campaign - meaning that they have to be on the campaign page and then make a new character there via Create Unassigned Character and then assign it to themselves. If they attempt to make a new character within their own character page via Create a New Character then it won't work because they don't own that content.
Long story short, if they want to make a character with your shared content they have to do it within the campaign that they are getting shared content from. I had players say the same thing - that they couldn't create characters with my shared content - but then I realized that they weren't creating the character within the campaign but they were making it on their Characters page OUTSIDE of the campaign.
