a Speer and javelin are strength based weapon in dnd rules, but in dnd beyond dexerety using weapon this is a problem
Is your character a Monk? If so, this behavior is correct, because the Monk class's "Martial Arts" feature allows them to use Dexterity for attacks with these weapons.
