Hello, I am new to dnd beyond but I recently made a monk character at level 5 for a new campaign. My sheet says that my unarmed strike damage die is a d8 when I thought it should be a d6 at 5th level? My subclass is way of the drunken master but I don't think that should have any effect. Is that a bug and is there a way to fix it? Thanks in advance.
Monks in the 2024 PHB get a bigger die, and there's a bug that applies that to all monks. They're aware of it and say they'll fix it. (But they have a lot of things to fix right now.)

Gotcha, thanks for the help!
Not sure if this Necro'd, but has there been any update on a fix to this?
Unfortunately, no. They have not really been communicating about specific issues.

The bug is still existing
Just came up on my discord server. Recreated it on a new character. Just confirming it's still a problem.
This was fixed several months ago. Did you accidentally select the 2024 Monk class when you meant to select the 2014 one?
