I specifically just bought the digital PHB and Xanathars so I can build my warlock but as soon as I go to select my Eldritch Invocations, half of them are missing. There is no Improved Pact Weapon, no thirsting blade, or eldritch smite, and I'm sure there's more but those were the ones I was wanting to select. I'm on the 2014 version of Warlock, and even with 2024 version there is no improved pact weapon as well.
Do you have "Expanded Rules" checked on the Home tab of the character builder? This is necessary to see options from books outside the core books, including Xanathar's Guide to Everything.
Do you have "Pact of the Blade" selected for your level 3 Pact Boon feature? All the invocations you mentioned as being missing require this as a prerequisite.
