I'm having an issue where I use 2024 Paladin as a start and then it won't allow me to pick ANY 2014 classes. I know 'its not meant to' but it wasn't restricted before and I refuse to let DNDB tell me how to make my character.

You can still do it if you turn off multiclassing prerequisites in your character settings.
