Hello. I have not used DND beyond to a few years, since before the 2024 rules update. And now, I come back to it today, only to find that I no longer have access to any of the content that I purchased on this website before the 2024 rules update. Did something change? Why can't I have access to any of my old rules? Can someone please help me with this?
Yeah sure. So I go over to the sources section of the website where all the source books are located. I should have a good portion of the pre 2024 stuff in my library. Because I bought it. I havent been on this site or doing anything DND related since before 2024, so now, today, when I'm ready to get back into it, I come here expecting to still have all my source books available from the pre 2024 stuff, but none of them are, I have to buy them again. AND my order history show that I bought nothing, even pre 2024. Even on that little thing on your order history that says "for order history pre april 2024, click here." I go to click it and nothing. I've essentially been robbed of all of my source books.

"Robbed" implies it was an active choice.
MIGHT want to rephase that.
I am going to ask, tho:Did you sign in with the same account you have those licenses in?
Because when the sign-in method changed, a lot of people accidentally signed in with duplicate accounts.

Something that might be relevant to answering that, if you're unsure: The account you're posting from only has a total of 2 posts in its lifetime, and both are in this thread. If you remember ever posting before, that would indicate that this isn't the same account.
But how is that possible? This is the exact same account I used when I bought all this stuff or at least im pretty sure it was. I'll do some digging and see if I signed into the wrong account.

While it's true that most of the time it's because you used a different site/account to sign in, some people have had DDB glitch on them and make a second account attached to the same external account. If that's so, only support can help you, but you should still rule out user error.
To whom can offer assistance, same issue. I purchased book content from google play over the course of a few months, through the DnD Beyond app. Everything was perfectly fine, both in the app and on the website. I had started running a whole campaign with no issues. I had made a few characters using the aforementioned book content. Well, fast forward to 8 months later I log back in (as I would any other time) and all my characters are gone, as well as the 9 books I had purchased. I have attempted to log out, and back in (on both the app and site) I have also updated the app, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well. I am still seeing the same issue. I took to the internet to see what the issue could be and first attempted to re-sync my google account, no dice. It says my account is in sync and there should be no issue. I with 100% confirmation have verified that I'm logged into the correct account. I have one other account and checked that one as well (I for certain have the correct one). I still have all the google play receipts from all of my purchases, my purchase history through Google play further indicates that the books belong to the account in question. To further troubleshoot, I went into an older phone I had the d&d beyond app on and checked there, with the account in question. Without the update to the app and staying off the internet on that older phone, I had access to the missing books there. I then took to the app on other devices just to see what would happen if I attempted to "repurchase" the already purchased books. When I do that, I get an error message that says "you already own this item". However, the books are not in my library (on app and on site) and when I attempt to open any content from them on the website, it takes me to the "add to cart screen.". I reached out to the Support team for Wizards of the Coast, they said it was an issue with Google. I reached out to Google and they said that it was an issue with Wizards of the Coast. Google verified that the purchases were completely settled (makes sense as some of them are months old, so I feel like if it was a purchase issue, I would have had problems way sooner) so it was not a failure in payment. I attempted to reach back out to the Wizards of the Coast support team and the trail has gone cold there, as they have yet to respond after I explained Google's position. I would honestly just like access to my books again, I don't even care about the characters at this rate, but I don't know what else to do. I do also have images from when the books were previously in my library as proof that I did once have access to them; I also still have the receipts for all the missing books, and images of the error message I get if I attempt to repurchase the books in the app If this further assists in resolution.

ModeratorCan you give a specific example of something you’re unable to access? What happens when you try to access it, exactly?

ModeratorAre your characters/campaigns/etc still there? If not, that would further suggest that you’re signed into the wrong account.

I didn't notice a change in the sign in method. I signed in via my twitch account, which is what I purchased all of them on.

ModeratorDo you happen to have a link to one of your old characters?
