Hi! This is my first time reporting a bug, so I hope this is the right place.
In the digital character sheet, I simply wish to switch my extant 8th level Barbarian to the new '24 PHB Path of the Berserker. No matter how I adjust home settings in edit mode, the scroll menu for Primal Path only shows expanded rules and legacy options for selecting the path.
I know that I have full access to the 2024 PHB from a fellow player. And even in the same character editor, other new 2024 options such as origin feats, in my case Soldier and Savage Attacker, appear without a problem.
I am thinking this must be a tiny bug, as I cannot imagine what else the issue might be!
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and hopefully help solve this issue!

It's not a bug, really. It's just that D&D Beyond considers the 2014 and 2024 versions of each class to be totally separate classes. Each subclass is only attached to one class or the other.
To switch an existing character to a 2024 subclass, you need to change the class to the 2024 version of the class first. Go to the Class tab and select the Barbarian option under the "Core" section rather than the "Legacy" section.

That was indeed the issue... awesome, thank you so much!
So I still have not run into an actual bug on DNDBeyond... I might have known! lol
I still just have a minor complaint... search parameters on magic items could be more inclusive. For example, searching 'greatsword' brings up 'failed investigation check' lol
Where, exactly, do I find this setting to change the Barbarian to "core" rather than "legacy"? There is 1000% no option for that under my "class" tab.
D&D Beyond considers them two separate classes. You need to remove the class you’ve selected and select the other one instead.
The 2024 version can be found in the “Core Rules” section and you must have “Core Rules” checked in the Sources section of the Home tab in order to see it. The 2014 version can be found in the “2014 Core Rules” section and you must have “2014 Core Rules” checked to see it. It’s below the other section, so you may need to scroll down.
(When I wrote that post over a year ago the latter section was labeled “Legacy”, but they’ve since changed the labeling.)

Anyways, thanks again!
