My group is doing a one-shot after taking a break. I'm trying to create a new character by writing over an old one because of sharing. I only purchased the 2024 PHB. My new character will start at level 5, which means he gets 1 common magic item and 1 uncommon magic item. The uncommon was easy to add, but I can't find the common magic items on the site. It's like they aren't there. Why is that?
Most magic items are found in the Dungeon Master's Guide, not the Player's Handbook. The PHB only has the same as in the Basic Rules: Bead of Nourishment, Potion of Climbing, Potion of Healing, and Spell Scroll.
