I'm assuming this is affecting other subclasses that were updated to 5.5e as well but I'm noticing this problem on Drakewarden specifically. It is missing from the Ranger class sheet for 5.5e (i.e. go to Rules > Classes and select 5.5e Ranger). I own Fizban's Treasury and see that they updated Drakewarden to 5.5e rules. It's even selectable in Character Creator (one of my players selected it, hence why I'm here).
But when you go to the class page, Drakewarden simply isn't listed. If I type Drakewarden into the DNDBeyond search bar, it brings up both the legacy and 5.5e version of the class. Clicking the Legacy takes me to the 5e Ranger page with the Drakewarden visible but clicking the 5.5e version takes me to the 5.5e Ranger page with no Drakewarden subclass available.
I'm assuming this is also happening to other subclasses recently updated to 5.5e as well but I know for sure it's happening with the dragon boy.
Drakewarden does not have a 5.5e version (yet). That's why it doesn't appear on the 5.5e class page; those pages only include subclasses that were actually written for the 5.5e rules.
It showing up in the search as a link to the 5.5e Ranger page seems like an error.
Ah weird, I guess that makes sense as to why it's showing up. I'm guessing they are in the middle of making the 5.5e version and it's causing some weird interactions. There are separate versions that show up when you search: "Drakewarden" (the 5e version) and "Drakewarden (FToD)" (the 5.5e version that my player was able to select on his 5.5e character).
Thankfully, Rangers get their subclass at lvl 3 in 5e anyway so it's basically the same class. Might be why they did it that way? So 5.5e characters could still use it?

That's nothing to do with being a Ranger or being level 3. All 5e subclasses that haven't been updated can be used with the 5.5e classes. They just don't show up on the 5.5e class pages because they weren't written for 5.5e.

In any case, thanks for the insight.
Probably not, given that it hasn't appeared in any of the playtest material released since 5.5e came out and hasn't been announced at all.
