The Earth Genasi has blade ward for a cantrip as a racial feature. On the character sheet it is only listing the legacy version of the spell, and since I'm playing a martial character, I have no way of changing it to the new rule set. There should be a way to use the new spell version on the character sheet, not just default to the old rules.

You can make a homebrew copy of the species and switch it to the new version of the spell.
