I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem, but recently my characters haven't been loading properly. Their profile pictures don't load when I try to look at them in the My Character's tab or even when I load some of the character sheets. More than that, their backdrops and frames don't load and I can't even roll dice on their sheets. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm a long-time DM and have a lot of NPC sheets, so could it be the volume of characters?
This is a pretty common problem that seems to have to do with the tracking cookies the site uses getting too big for the request header. Clearing all cookies and cache data associated with dndbeyond.com and restarting the browser can often fix it (you'll need to login again).
So I tried clearing the cookies and cache data associated with dndbeyond.com, I restarted my browser, and I did that loop about 5 or 6 times. As much as I want to say it worked, it hasn't and I'm starting to get a bit concerned as I'm not sure what else to do.
That's so weird. I opened it on Safari and all the images are popping up just fine, but then I open it on Chrome and they're all not there. I'm not sure what's going on.

So, I'm not trying to call you a liar or anything, but this does suggest that the problem is still with the cookies and stored data in Chrome and that they haven't been properly cleared.
This specific problem is usually caused by a bunch of data from one of the cookies — data that accumulates over a lot of activity on the site — being sent back and the server that handles the images rejecting the request because this makes the headers too large. Since each browser is storing its own cookies and data separately, when you switch to a different browser that you haven't used the site on before (or haven't used as much) that data isn't too big and you don't see the same problem.
Did you have to login again after clearing the site data? If you didn't, then not all the cookies have been cleared.
That's so weird. I just fully cleared all of my cookies and the cache data again just to be sure, and it made me login again after clearing all of it and restarting the browser completely, but the character portraits on the My Character's tab are still not showing up. I'm not sure what's going on. X~X

Does it work better if you use a different browser entirely?
