After clicking the "Create New Version" button, I updated some of the wording on the first feature the subclass grants, "Form of Rebirth". However, after saving those changes on that feature and then clicking "Save Changes" again on the Basic Information page (as typically needs to be done to finalize any changes), the following error appears on the subclass:
This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.
I'm unsure what's causing this particular error, since I made no changes to the number of features the subclass grants or at which levels they are granted. The only change was to some of the wording on the first feature. To review, I have a total of three subclass features at Level 3 (two actual features and one granting access to new spells), one feature at Level 6, one at Level 10, and one at Level 14. I had no issues sharing the subclass publicly with these features at these levels before, so I'm unclear on what's preventing me from sharing the updated version.
I have the same issue. I have tried everything and I keep getting the same error along with; This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
I have insured that I only have spells found in the DMG and PG, no expansion material. I've even went though and retyped everything so it would be fresh and I can't get rid of either error.
Hi there! I'm currently trying to publish an updated version of my homebrew 5.5e Warlock subclass, The Feeder. The current version can be found at the following link:

Try adding a dummy feature at level 1, that sometimes fixes it (because the 5e version needed that).
Beyond keeps breaking these things, sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.

ModeratorThat is not the same issue. 😅
If you want to publish it for the global community, you can only use spells from the Basic Rules. Not every spell from the PHB is in the Basic Rules.
If you just want to use this in your own campaign, you can safely ignore that error and use any spells you want. You don’t need to publish it.
