So I am trying to make some homebrew species that have subspecies. The only issue is I can't select the parent species as the species group even though I have check mark the box for it to have subspecies. Can some please give me guidance to fix this because I am pulling my hair out over here on this.

ModeratorThat’s not currently possible.
(As a side note, subspecies in general are a fairly outdated concept in the rules. Modern species include those as a choice within the species itself instead, which would also bypass that grouping issue entirely.)
