Our table uses Perkin's Crit. i.e. If you crit and your normal damage is 1d6+3, then you're Crit Damage is 1d6+6+3.
On D&D Beyond, when you roll a 20 on a weapon attack, it automatically applies "Double Roll Damage". However, with the new menu, where you can select Crit or Flat Roll, I would expect to be able to clear this crit before rolling, because I don't want to use it.
However, in this situation, opening the menu shows as Flat Roll, while the Character Sheet box is clearly Crit. Switching to Crit and back again doesn't change the situation. The box shows 2d8+2, not 1d8+2. The menu shows 1d8+2, and changes if you manually adjust etc.
But when you roll, it always rolls the double dice crit damage.
You cannot clear the crit damage even if you want to. Changing the selector has no effect. Adjusting the die type works to change the rolled die type, but if I adjust the die count, it doubles that adjusted value, so changing it to 3d8 will roll 6d8.
Expectation:
When I crit, and open the menu, it shows Crit Damage selected, and changing that to Flat Roll will ... only do a flat roll.
