I'm having an issue trying to manage an Artificer character and their magic plans. The list of options are only showing options from Core Rules and 2014 Expanded Rules, and I'm unable to select any of the options from FotA or other source books.
I've seen other threads about armourer options being unavailable - is this issue related?
Not sure if this is related, but I've been having a similar but different issue with the magic item plans feature where whenever I use a homebrew subclass (in this case a modified version of the maverick, because the original's features are rather janky in the character creator) the magic item plans show options from every source, including ones I don't own. Whenever I choose one of them, instead of showing me a description of the item, it just says: "This is a generated Class Feature Option: Magic Item Plans". This only happens whenever I try to use a homebrew subclass for the artificer, and it's driving me insane
Have you not got 5.5e Expanded Rules selected? The only way I can replicate what you're seeing is if I turn off the 5.5e Expanded rules and turn on the 5e Expanded rules. FotA is a 5.5e Expanded Rules book.
