I know "Wild Magic" is in the Player Handbook - both 2014 and D&D 5.5e. When I search that term, though, I get nothing. Weirdly, another player in my game gets results for searching the exact same term, but none of the results he got were from the Player's Handbook. Is something weird going on with D&D Beyond's searching?

First Entry for me is 5e Wild Magic, and the third entry is 5.5e Wild Magic Sorcery.

It's working for me right now, but when I tried it last night when I first saw this thread, I was seeing the same thing as Robbiewan. Maybe they fixed it, or maybe it's some kind of transient problem that comes and goes.
Same. I just now tried it and it gives 5e Wild Magic followed by Path of Wild Magic from Tasha's, then Wild Magic Sorcery from the 5.5e PHB.
Not sure what was going on last night. My friend's search last night started with Path of Wild Magic from Tasha's and didn't include either entry from the Player's Handbooks. Weirdness.
I'm having exactly this same issue, and it's not just the term "Wild Magic" (though this didn't work). I couldn't get "Flame Blade" to work, nor "Cambion" - and "Cambion" worked earlier today!
The devs must be tinkering in the background in preparation for the update, because searching "owlbear" at least directed people to either Monster Manual before over specific modules. My roommate JUST tested it.

ModeratorDunno, but they announced at Gen Con last week that a brand new search engine is coming soon. Should fix a lot of the issues with the current one.

I cant find Korred using the search engine, thought the monster is clearly there in Wilds. Oddly other things like redcap work fine.
It's hit & miss.
