Any update on when we're going to be able to see the Phantom subclass on the 2024 Rogue character builder? This was discovered in September and is still not fixed.

The Phantom subclass is available for use with both 2014 and 2024 Rogue classes.
You do need to own the book it comes from, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, or have access to it through content sharing, and you need to have "Expanded Rules" turned on in the Home tab of the character builder.
I own the full 2014 core trio of books, plus TCOE, plus XGTE. I also own the core trio of 2024 books.
When I go to create a 2024 Rogue, even after checking Expanded Rules, Phantom is not a subclass I can select in the character builder. Under Core Rules, I see Trickster, Assassin, Soul Knife, and Thief. Under Expanded Rules, I have Inquisitive, Mastermind, Scout, and Swashbuckler from XGTE and SCAG. Nothing else.
When was this problem supposedly fixed? The forum is full of posts complaining it doesn't show up, and not a single post that I can find that says it was fixed. It was even acknowledged as a problem after initially being reported as functional.
I own the books outright in all cases. Resyncing my entitlements apparently fixed it. Not sure how it fell off to begin with, but it seems to have happened during the pre-release of the 2024 materials and the official release.
I have Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, i still cant make my Rogue a Phantom....
Are you using the 5e version of the Rogue class, or the 5.5e version?
If you're using the 5.5e version, then you would need to use the 5.5e version of the Phantom subclass, which is in Ravenloft: The Horrors Within. If you're using the 5e version, then you would need to use the 5e version of the subclass, which is in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
You can tell which version you've selected by looking at the icon for the class on the Class tab of the character builder. The 5e version's icon looks like a downward-pointing dagger with an eye mask at the top. The 5.5e version is a key with two crossed daggers behind it.
Actually, both Phantoms are available on the 5.5e Rogue (if you have access to both).
I see that now, though that's really surprising to me given that the core subclasses don't work that way (you can't, e.g., use the 5e Thief subclass on the 5.5e Rogue, only the 5.5e Thief).
I believe they're doing it that way because people will have made 5.5 characters with the 5.0 version before the updated one was released, and vanishing people's subclasses would cause problems.

That does make sense!

ModeratorIt’s definitely available, and has been since Sept. 18 (the day after the official PHB release).
Did you purchase TCOE yourself, or is your character assigned to a campaign where that book is shared with you?
On this page, are your Account Entitlements in sync? Is that book listed under Current Product Licenses?

Do you have 5.5e Expanded Rules enabled for that character? Are you looking in that section when picking your subclass?
