D&D Beyond displays old avatar that no longer exists, when viewing any of my character sheets

A few months back I decided to change my D&D Beyond account avatar (not a portrait for a character, but rather the avatar/pfp tied to my D&D Beyond Account). I removed my old avatar in the "avatars" section of my account settings, uploaded my new avatar, and the old one no longer appeared on that account settings page at all. However, in the months following, every time I have viewed a character sheet on D&D Beyond, it still displays my old avatar next to my username, even though that avatar is no longer uploaded to my account, and no longer appears in my account settings. My new avatar does correctly display on most pages on D&D Beyond, including when I go to view my account settings, but for some reason, the old one shows up in the corner of my screen next to my account username whenever I am viewing a character sheet. 
Has anyone else ever encountered this issue? I have done numerous basic steps to troubleshoot it over the past few months, including clearing the cache and cookies for D&D Beyond, signing out and back into my account, deleting my new avatar from my account and re-adding it, and deleting and reinstalling my browser (Chrome), but nothing seems to fix it. This issue appears on any and all combinations of devices and browsers that I use, including Chrome, Opera, Firefox, and Safari on both my laptop and my phone, so I strongly believe this issue is either tied to D&D Beyond itself or my account, not any device or browser that I am using. Any tips for troubleshooting?
