Will try and make this concise; the Brace Maneuver has Invisibility cast on it.
I have a friend who is playing a 5.5e Battlemaster and is picking their Maneuvers. However the Brace Maneuver from Tasha's is missing despite content being shared with them (I own both the 5.5e Player's Handbook and Tasha's).
As the Character is in a Campaign I'm not DMing, I decided to create my own character to test it and found that the same Maneuver is missing.
I've checked the Character Preferences section on the Character Creation and 5.5e Core Rules and 5e Expanded Rules have their boxes checked -
5e Expanded Rules:
Character options from supplementary sourcebooks such as Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything and Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, that are beyond the 5e Core Rules.
It was my understanding that any Tasha or Xanather feature that hadn't been updated should be compatible (or at least, selectable) in 5.5e Character Sheets, so not sure what I'm doing wrong. My guess is it's something to do with still being locked behind 5e Fighter but not entirely sure.
Hoping I'm just missing something!

Is the maneuver listed in the 5.5 Battlemaster's set?
If not, the only way to get it is via the 5e feat that grants maneuvers.
