I have created 4 subclasses, one for rogue, one for sorcerer, one for monk, and one for warlock. They all say that they are too similar to Circle of Spores, and yet I have a barbarian one that works fine, At the same time they all say “This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.” Can somebody please help?

ICYMI, though, those errors only matter if you’re trying to publish it for the global community. You don’t need to publish to share it in your own campaigns. Your homebrew creations are shared there automatically, and those warnings can be safely ignored.

I have been getting this error today.
"This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass."
I have gone through both of them, they are not linked to any licensed, private homebrew spells, or anything like that. Everything that is linked, is only linked to the player's handbook.
The wording on that one is a little misleading. What you're not allowed to do is link to any spells that are in purchased content. You can only link to spells that are in the free Basic Rules product. It contains some of the spells from the Player's Handbook, but not all of them.

Do I have to look up all spells to see if they are available in the Basic Rules? What should I look for to see if they are in the Basic Rules? I there a footnote that I could recognize?
Are both Basic Rules (2014) and D&D Beyond Basic Rules allowed or just one?

ModeratorEither version of the Basic Rules qualifies, yeah.
I’d just go to Rules > Spells, open Advanced Filters, and add those books in the Source field. Any spell listed there should be fine to use.
