In CoS, is it a good idea to let a players become a Wereraven? Just wondering, and before you ask, I do NOT mean under the awful 5.5e Lycanthropy rules.
There are two 5.0e Wereraven options. Are you referring to the Curse of Strahd one that I can no longer find on DDB, or the Van Richten’s Guide one that was intended to supersede the CoS one?
Using the Van Richten's rules works fine in CoS since flight and regeneration offer utility without breaking combat. If you use full damage immunity from the older rules, Barovia's nonmagical encounters will lose all threat.

Either the 5.5e one but with the old lycanthropy rules or the van richten one.
